Biodegradable peat pots are a great way to start seeds indoors; simply fill with Pro-Mix Seed Starter Mix and sow your seeds. Larger sizes can be used for transplanting established seedlings into to grow on before they are moved into the garden.

Once it is time to plant outdoors, the peat pots can either be removed and composted, or simply slit open and planted in the ground, as they will decompose as the plant roots continue to grow into the soil.
