Refund policy

Please read the following return policies carefully before making a purchase.

Returns for everyday giftware, fashion, and hard goods are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order, on regular-priced merchandise with invoice and original packaging. All packaged items must be unopened.

To start a return, or for any questions on online returns, please email us. Once a return is approved, you will be responsible for arranging return shipping; all return shipping is at the customer's expense. Please note, shipped returns will not be accepted without prior approval.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Plants and other perishable items (including bulbs and seeds) are FINAL SALE, although outdoor perennials, trees & shrubs come with a warranty* (see below).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale/clearance items or gift cards.

Garden Club memberships are non-refundable.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds will be applied in the original payment method. It may take up to 10 business days for you to receive your refund, depending on your financial institution.

Exchanges can be done in-store only.


Warranty
Outdoor perennials, trees and shrubs (unless purchased prior to May 1) come with a warranty. If your plant dies within the timeframe listed below, despite having been planted properly and received reasonable care, we will issue you a credit in the amount of the original purchase price, which can be used toward the purchase of a replacement plant. We do NOT issue refunds for dead plant material. All warranty credits are issued strictly at our discretion, and we reserve the right to refuse if a plant has not been properly planted and/or cared for, or if it is not dead. All warranty credits are processed in-store only. Please note that annuals, bulbs and tropical plants are not covered by warranty.

Outdoor perennials are guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase. The dead plant must be surrendered along with the receipt. Warranty credits issued for perennials can ONLY be used on regular-priced perennials and are not valid on other plants or merchandise. Please email Joe Gadbois for any questions on perennial warranty.

Hardy outdoor trees and shrubs (including hardy roses) are guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase. Tender outdoor trees and shrubs (including tender roses) are guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase. Warranty credits issued for trees and shrubs can ONLY be used on regular-priced trees and shrubs and are not valid on other plants or merchandise. To start a warranty return for trees & shrubs, please email Karen Bass with photos of the plant(s) in question.

*Plants purchased during our year-end Harvest Sale may be exempt from warranty coverage.
