Clematis texensis 'Gravetye Beauty'

• Masses of tulip shaped, magenta-red flowers in summer to fall.
• Climbing vine (requires support).
• Can also be allowed to trail along the ground as a groundcover, or over retaining walls.

Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Sun. Prune back to 30cm (1 ft.) above ground level each spring. Plant 15cm (6 in.) deeper than pot level and mulch for winter.

Height: 2.5-4m (8-12 ft.), Spread: 1.2-1.5m (4-5 ft.)
