• This unusual orchid is often called a "slipper orchid" because of the unusual shoe-shaped flowers.
• Long-lasting blooms typically have two different base colours: copper-red or yellow-green, and will be accented with various spots and stripes.
• Compact, with green, strap-shaped leaves.
• Pet-friendly! 

Care:

• Light: Bright, indirect (east window). Direct hot afternoon sun will scorch the leaves.
• Water: Allow potting mix to dry to dampness between watering; avoid overwatering or allowing to remain dry for extended periods.
• Fertilizer: Use an orchid fertilizer such as Jack's 30-10-10 according to package instructions.
• Other tips: Plants should be potted into undersized containers in which the roots fit snuggly; use an orchid mix such as Orchiata Classic or Willgro Fine Media. Requires cooler temperatures in fall/winter to promote rebloom.
