Spathiphyllum 'Platinum Mist'

• Unusual version of the popular houseplant, with silver-streaked leaves.
• Also produces white, spade-shaped flowers throughout the year.
• Easy to grow and relatively forgiving; excellent for beginners!

Care:

• Light: Bright, indirect light (north or east window). Tolerates low light. Leaves will scorch if exposed to hot afternoon sun.
• Water: Keep evenly moist; water when the soil surface has dried. Do not allow to stand in water.
• Fertilizer: Use an all-purpose fertilizer such as Schultz Indoor Plant Food (10-15-10) twice monthly.
• Other tips: Grows best in an undersized pot; use well-drained potting soil, such as Pro-Mix Tropical Plant Mix with extra perlite or small Orchiata added. Leaf margins may brown under low humidity, or if the plant is allowed to dry out to the point of wilting. Mist frequently or use a humidifier if necessary.
