Meconopsis x sheldonii 'Lingholm'

  • Large sky-blue flowers in summer.
  • Forms a clump of fuzzy leaves.
  • Plants may behave monocarpic (die after flowering) if allowed to flower the first year buds form, so pinch off flower buds the first year they appear to allow the plant to develop a stronger clump before blooming.
  • A stunning, highly sought-after perennial.

Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Shade.

Height: 90-120cm (3-4 ft.), Spread: 45-60cm (18-24 in.)
