Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shimadaijin'

• Very large, semi-double, rich fuchsia-purple flowers with yellow centres in early summer.
• Woody growth habit.
• Does not require support.
• Tree peonies are more tender than other types of peonies and should be planted with the graft union 6 inches deep, and mulched for winter. Trim off any dead wood as plants leaf out in spring.

Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Sun to light shade.
