Dryas octopetala

  • Up-facing, pure white flowers on short stems in late spring to early summer, followed by fluffy seedheads.
  • Forms a mat of woody stems with grey-green, evergreen foliage with orange/red fall colour.
  • Choice alpine & rock garden plant.
  • Attracts pollinators.
  • Alberta native species.

Gritty, sharply drained soil; drought tolerant once established. Sun.
