Lilium philadelphicum

  • Up-facing, cup-shaped, orange-red flowers with golden-orange throat and dark spotting in early summer.
  • Stems are attractively clothed in whorled leaves and slowly form clumps.
  • Native species; floral emblem of Saskatchewan.

Moist, humus-rich, sandy, well-drained soil. Sun to pt. shade.

Height: 30-60cm (1-2 ft.), Spread: 30-45cm (12-18 in.)
