Lilium philadelphicum
- Up-facing, cup-shaped, orange-red flowers with golden-orange throat and dark spotting in early summer.
- Stems are attractively clothed in whorled leaves and slowly form clumps.
- Native species; floral emblem of Saskatchewan.
Moist, humus-rich, sandy, well-drained soil. Sun to pt. shade.
