Clematis hirsutissima ex 'Lone Pine Form'

  • Bell-shaped, blue to purple flowers in early summer, followed by fluffy seedheads.
  • Forms an upright clump of feathery, hairy foliage.
  • Ideal for rock gardens and border edging.

Gritty, moist, well-drained soil; drought tolerant once established. Sun. Cut back to ground level in fall.
