Aconitum napellus

  • Spikes of hooded, deep violet-blue flowers in summer.
  • Forms a bushy clump of divided, deep green, glossy leaves.
  • Easy and reliable.
  • Caution: toxic if ingested.

Fertile to average, moist, well-drained soil. Sun to part shade.

Height: 90cm (36 in.), Spread: 45-60cm (18-24 in.)
