Centaurea montana 'Amethyst in Snow'

  • Masses of starry, white flowers with amethyst-purple centres in summer; deadhead to prolong blooming.
  • Forms a vigorous clump of fuzzy leaves; spreads by suckering and self-seeding.
  • Attracts pollinators.

Average to poor, well-drained soil; drought tolerant once established. Sun to pt. shade.

Height: 30-40cm (12-16 in.) Spread: 45-60cm (18-24 in.)
