Clematis macropetala 'Blue Bird'

  • Nodding, blue flowers with white centres in spring, followed by fluffy seedheads.
  • Can be grown as a climbing vine (with support) or as a groundcover (without support).
  • One of the hardiest, most reliable Clematis varieties.

Moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Sun to pt. shade. Prune lightly just after blooming.

Height: 2.5-3.5m (8-12 ft.), Spread: 1.2-1.5m (4-5 ft.)
