Chiastophyllum oppositifolium (syn. Umbilicus oppositifolius)

  • Dangling panicles of yellow flowers in summer.
  • Forms a low clump of broad succulent leaves.
  • Rare plant well-suited to a shady rock or alpine garden; provide winter protection.

Moist, well-drained soil. Pt. shade.

Height: 20-35cm (8-14 in.), Spread: 30-60cm (1-2 ft.)
