Echinops ritro

  • Globe-shaped, cobalt-blue flowers in summer.
  • Grey-green, deceptively soft, deeply lobed foliage.
  • Attractive to pollinators, but not to deer and rabbits.
  • Clump-forming; not invasive.

Average to poor, well-drained soil; drought tolerant once established. Sun.
