Silene acaulis

  • Tiny pink flowers in spring to early summer.
  • Forms a tight cushion or mat of tiny evergreen leaves.
  • Choice alpine/rock garden plant.
  • Alberta native species.

Gritty, moist, sharply drained soil; tolerates some drought once established. Sun.

Ht. 2-5cm (1-2 in.) Sp. 20-45cm (8-18 in.)
