Miscanthus sinensis 'Purpurascens'

  • Clumps of green foliage turn smoky-red in fall.
  • Plumes of silvery-white flowers in late summer to fall.
  • One of the most reliable varieties of Chinese silver grass.

Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Sun to light shade.

Height: 1.2-1.5m (4-5 ft.), Spread: 90-120cm (3-4 ft.)
