Premium product for potting orchids and other tropical plants, either on its own or as part of a mix. It is also used extensively for propagation, working well for rooting cuttings of a variety of plants. It's a sterile material that is very high in moisture retentive capability. Compared to Chilean sphagnum, New Zealand sphagnum lasts longer, has a more stable pH, and is overall higher quality.
