Beats Peat is made out of coco coir, a peat substitute derived from coconut husk. This material is water absorbent, yet has high porosity, promoting healthy root growth. It also has a neutral pH. Favoured by many gardeners because it decomposes more slowly than peat, and its production is more environmentally friendly.
